Inspector Koch stumbles upon the dead body of a boy. His only clue is a matchbox with the name of a hotel on it, where he finds a Las Vegas gambling chip. With the help of his friend Lou, Koch discovers that the victim was an electronics whiz kid who invented a device for winning at the casino and was killed by two thugs for his money. Koch kills the assassins and uses the devices to win himself a small fortune.
