A family of farmers wage war against a group of unscrupulous, corrupt speculators who are trying to get their hands on their land. Tragically, the odds are stacked against them. The son, a policeman, is killed; his girlfriend is driven mad with despair, while the mother dies of a broken heart. The only surviving son is sent to jail for trying to take the law into his own hands.
