   Surf Film was founded in 1982 by Massimo Vigliar which successfully operates in the sector of worldwide productions and distribution, increasing with each passing year its catalogue of approx. 700 films. Many of them represent the greatest Italian Cinema productions of the post-war period, such as: "Two Women”, "Marriage Italian Style”, "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” by Vittorio De Sica; "A Special Day” by Scola and many others. The list also contains many unforgettable pages from the history of European Cinema, such as, among others: "Contempt” by Godard, "Quiet Days in Clichy” by C. Chabrol.

As film producer the last feature film realized to date was "Gorbaciof" with Toni Servillo, directed by Stefano Incerti, and shown with excellent critical reviews at the 67th Venice Film Festival and competing at the 35th Festival of Toronto.

What's more, in the last years, the company has dedicated itself to the production of numerous documentaries dedicated to famous directors and actors who have played an important part in establishing the greatness Italian Cinema; to cite a few examples: "Vittorio D." on the life and works of the great Vittorio De Sica, "Sophia: yesterday, today and tomorrow" dedicated to Sophia Loren, and many others; the last, "A Portrait of my Father" by Maria Sole Tognazzi, shown at the 4th edition of Rome's International Film festival.

The constant presence at the major International Markets and Festivals provides its products an high International profile, assuring them the best market placement.
